The top 24 teams on the Global Championship Point Leaderboard will automatically qualify for the ALGS Championship in Japan at the end of the Split 2 Pro League. LANs earn you the most points. So top performing teams like Team Falcons, the winners of the ALGS Open, and VK Gaming, the winners of the ALGS Mid-Season Playoffs, have earned thousands of points, putting them at the top of the Championship Point Leaderboards. I feel like they might be a little bit more similar from what we've seen today. I think the only difference is we see a little bit more Newcastle coming in from Americas and slightly less caustic, especially in Game 1 anyway. But we'll see how the bands pan out, but I always love switching from one region to another because...
00:07:35 We just get a little bit of a change of pace. And my curiosity to add to that is, do we see something different with weapons? I know we've seen such a variety in terms of longbow, or sorry, excuse me, really sniper weapons, SMGs, and then of course shotguns. So a lot of it, you see even ARs or LMGs being used a little bit here and there, mostly the LMGs, but I feel that there's a lot of variety. I wonder which we'll see North America lean on. I'm expecting some PK, some charge rifles like we saw a little bit.

And the bigger theme here in North America with which to look at this competition through is, are they stuttering powerhouse? I mean, Mark, the dominance of North America feels like it's there. But on the other side, you see the rest of the teams rock 20th, but then they get a 1st. And sure, they had some nice mid-rangers as well. They got the 9th, the 5th, the 3rd. But again, it's all well and good finding that win. But you really need to be consistent across the board, otherwise you're going to find yourself falling down the table.
00:14:35 It's always difficult to be consistent in a Battle Royale, especially Apex Legends at times. You are going to struggle with those games where the ring pulls away, but that's what sets the best apart from the rest, right? Those that can find a way and negate those really tough rotations to actually put points off the board. Yeah, it seems like in this start of the season, you want to just give yourself a chance. You want to show up and have an opportunity to win. If you don't win, it's okay. Got plenty of season left to work out the small things.

It's even worse, especially at the start of a season mark. And that's sometimes where we see these big names, like Alliance and EMEA, which we started out, and like Liquid Alienware, which we saw last week as well. What's your thought about what maybe didn't work the way Liquid Alienware was hoping and what they got to do differently?

But let me tell you, that was a one solitary good moment for them in what otherwise was quite simply an awful day if you were a Liquid Alienware fan.
