Eight of those teams battled through the preseason qualifiers, and 22 earned it through established winning form, invites from EA, or by being the best of the rest. Those 30 teams will be split into three groups of 10 teams and play a triple round robin with each group playing the others three times.

00:19:25 Hey Legends, today I'm here to explain the new ALGS POI Draft System. This format change aims to even the playing field, while challenging teams to adapt to different POIs and different playstyles. How, you might ask? Well, this is how it works. Prior to the Pro League regular season, each team receives a random assortment of draft picks for matchdays 1 through 9. The assortment is perfectly equal.
00:19:51 Meaning, if a team receives the first draft pick, they'll also receive the 40th draft pick on that matchday. This draft style is called a snake draft, and the order of draft picks changes with each matchday, which means that teams may not always get their preferred POI. On draft day, each team will make two draft picks, one Storm Point drop spot and one World's Edge drop spot. Strategizing is crucial.
