Erklärung Dungeon Break und Gem Skipping

00:37:01 Demon Hunter is still a good class, yes. As, to be honest, every other class in the game as well. In my opinion, classes and shakes are pretty well balanced. So whatever you feel like playing, you should play that. Yeah. Can you explain this whole dungeon post thing and the meta behind it? Yes. It's always like a dreaded question for streamers because it's been asked like 7 million times. It's been answered 7 million times. But obviously everyone is new to the stream at some point and...

00:37:28 You wouldn't ask the question if you knew the answer. So I will turbo TLDR speedrun what a dungeon break is. Okay? Let's go. Alright. Experience in Shakes works this way. In the early levels, each level you get, you get more and more XP from Expeditions. But at level 393, it peaks. And from that point onwards, you get less and less XP.

00:37:51 Per level that you gain. So it naturally becomes this. Like a curve going up and then down. Meanwhile gold always increases. All the way from level 1. All the way up to 632. The gold curve goes up. So where the XP curve goes down. And then the gold curve goes up. There is going to be a cut basically. And around that point is when you want to switch. Playing for gold rather than for XP. Which is around level 500. People that are smart.

00:38:20 found out that XP that you get from dungeons is a fixed amount. It doesn't matter what level you are. If you beat the dungeon you get X amount of XP. Stable. So what that means is you do a dungeon break for example roughly from level 360 all the way up to 393 and all the way down take a lot of the good XP until you get further down once it crosses the gold line to around 470 ish.

00:38:45 approximately plus minus. And if you then do all the dungeons that you didn't do during your dungeon break, you will jump ahead a lot of levels, over level 500. You will end up being higher level than someone who didn't play a DP and you will be constantly ahead of level because they can't catch up the lost XP anymore. So you then have time from that point onwards to level 632 to catch up on the gold that they made more than you during DP by being higher level. That is your time frame to make up that gold again.
