In High on Life beginnt die Reise mit der Erkundung einer feindlichen Umgebung. Nach einer Auseinandersetzung mit Bauarbeitern erreicht die Gruppe Old Town und erhält Informationen über das von G3 kontrollierte Dregtown. Um in das Kartell einzudringen, wird ein Rekrutierungsprozess durchlaufen, der in einer Rettungsmission und Konfrontation mündet.
