Update 14.6: USN Destroyers im Early Access und Eventpass

00:22:58 Hill Country got slammed, though. And, yeah, quite a few people. There were some moments there. Yep, everybody here relatively okay, I believe. For Update 14.6, it is themed around the new USN Destroyers, which will be entering Early Access next week. If you haven't seen this before, by the way, you can get a day of premium time on the Patch Notes articles. Make sure to check them out.

00:23:26 So, Early Access for American Destroyers. This does start next week on the 16th and will run until September 3rd. We have four new ships. We just showed off the Burrows, the Tier 10, but it is from Tier 7 through 10. So, you can check out some of the distinguishing features here. It's that unusual smoke generator that has a limited total usage time instead of individual charges. So, very flexible with how you use the smoke. Either short bursts, you can set up in a good position, use it for a couple minutes. Very fun to use.

00:23:54 They are very much gun-focused destroyers, very high DPM with both HE and SAP. I believe the Tier VII has the regular 5-inch guns, but starting at Tier VI, they get those 137mm guns with great ballistics.

00:24:09 I do also really like Tier IX and Tier X. They've both got kind of thematic skins based off the gunslingers of old. Yeah, you can kind of see the art at the top here, and we can show it off in port after we finish going through the article. I think I also had it on my bros for the match, so pretty cool, like Wild West kind of themed.

00:25:11 As part of Early Access for the USN Destroyers, they will have personal challenges. We'll have more details about that with a separate article closer towards the start of Early Access. The event pass to this update is themed around the American Destroyers, so you can get some tokens for the Early Access event and a bunch of the other usual rewards, including a bunch of economic stuff. The Go Navy permanent camouflage for Cleveland. If you love American-themed stuff, that is a wonderfully American camuf.

00:25:40 I think the only thing more American is like the eagles and sharks skins for the WUSA. Yeah, for the WUSA. And then San Diego, which is literally Statue of Liberty. It's beautiful. There are some French squadron containers as well, which can drop champagne if you don't have it. In the premium line, you can get the West Virginia permanent camouflage for WV-41, as well as a bunch of the usual economic stuff, as well as the French Navy permanent camouflage for Le Fantasque.

00:26:13 Note that this is actually the last update that the Experimental Ships will be around. When Update 14.7 releases, these will go away. You'll get some commemorative rewards for each group that you have. So if you have both groups, you'll get separate rewards for each. I believe the Classified Documents and Flagship Operations will also go away. So if you're enjoying the stuff, make sure you check it out this patch, because they will go away next patch.

I know it's not a big damage dealer.

So the Container Scheme will now display all your containers immediately, so you'll need to switch around. You can also open more containers at once if you have a whole bunch, as well as a confirmation button so you don't accidentally open your stockpile of 500 super containers if you don't want to. You can now switch off animations so you can speed up the process.

00:32:34 Oh, such a good quality. If you're somebody who collects their three crates every day, and you don't want to sit there for an extra 30 seconds, you can now just skip through that. That's going to be super handy, too, if we do extended animations for special events again. Yeah. Hmm, hint, hint. What could he be implying here? The interface will also display drop chances in the reward breakdown on the Container Barge UI, so you don't have to tab back to the Armory if you're curious. It will also show you the guaranteed drop counter.

It is a ton of fun. Oh, it's so good. I played some warm-up games today with Fiasma in Unbreakable Line, and it feels dirty. Oh, it feels so dirty. It's like that ship was made for that game mode. I really, really enjoyed clubbing with Valparaiso in the first iteration of Unbreakable Line. Yes. It's my guilty pleasure.

00:33:41 I quite enjoy that and Tier IX Ranked. It's unconscionable how much I enjoyed that. We love unkillable ships in small format boats. The problem is, if somebody gets your number, you're just dead. There's nothing you can do.

It triggers off of main battery heads, so it takes a while to fill up, I think, because the base reload on these guns is 30 seconds, so you only have 8 barrels. I was like, that's incredibly powerful, but it's a cruiser. It looks like it is a French large cruiser design, too, which means you are kind of squishy.
